Spacious 3-Bed Brownstone, near Columbia Uni

Excellent Positive: spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful apartment, recommended only if you come after 10pm Positive: The place is beautiful and extremely clean, the beds are comfortable and decoration is pretty. However, we felt disappointed on the relationship between price and quality, since it’s kind of pricey and we encountered some issues while staying there. Negative: First of all, I must say that if your plan is to wake up early (before 6am) or come home late (after 10pm) this place is NOT FOR YOU. We had some complaints about noise related to the neighbors complaining about us coming home late and making noises. We never made a party or any other noise unrelated with the normal noise of living on a property, however this concern made our stay somewhat uncomfortable. As any other tourist, you wake up early and come home late to take advantage of what the city offers and specially to sightsee around. NYC it’s a city that has great night life and stuff to do that are better to appreciate late, so I wouldn’t recommend to stay here if you plan to come after 10pm and get ready for bed, not to mention cooking or anything else louder. Besides that, the doors, stairs and floors are very very creaky and they don’t hold your bags before or after your stay even if the place it’s empty, they charge you a very expensive fee for checking in 2 hours prior. I thought in general that it’s expensive for what it offers. In the good side, the staff are kind and responsive by text. And as I mention, the decoration it’s beautiful. I tried to upload videos of the noise in the property but only photos are possible.
